Based in Oak Grove, Missouri, in the greater Kansas City metro area, American Earth Sheltered (AES) Concrete Construction, LLC serves residential and commercial clients nationwide. We have all 5-star reviews and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Owner Cameron Scafe is a third-generation builder who has been actively planning and building concrete homes since he was 18 years old. He often uses the concrete forming system developed by his grandfather, a distinguished earth-sheltered builder. The form system used by AES Concrete Construction to shape the ceiling can give our homes up to 20 times the strength of some competitors.
History
Our Origins
Our founder, Cameron, carries on as a 3rd generation builder and strives to keep his grandfather’s passion and dreams for earth sheltered homes alive for many years to come. His grandfather, Gayle Scafe, the inventor of the concrete forming system we often use, is retired now and lives on his island in Belize in a house he made of concrete and conch shells with his wife, Dona. He spent many years as an innovator and builder specializing in earth-sheltered, underground and masonry construction building.
Now, as their children, grandchildren and extended family, we carry on the traditions of building as many generations before us. We have long been a family of makers, planners, artists and designers. We love building your beautiful projects!
Future
Continuing the Tradition
Cameron started traveling and building underground homes when he was 18 years old. He has always had a dream of having his own company and partnering with clients to help them build their underground forever home.
AES Concrete Construction was founded in 2018 with the help of Cameron’s wife Tiffany, who serves as the Director of Marketing, helping connect with clients nationwide through our website and social media presence.
